SAN DIEGO — Pleasant weather in San Diego is in the forecast for Father's Day. The marine layer will roll in by nighttime, stick around in the morning and clear by the afternoon on Sunday.

SUNDAY MICROCLIMATE HIGHS:

  •     Coastal highs around 67°, normal around 71°
  •     Inland highs around 78°, normal around 82°
  •     Mountain highs around 81°, normal around 77°
  •     Desert highs around 105°, normal around 102°

By next week, a ridge of high pressure will build over the Eastern Pacific, pushing warmer air into the region by the middle of the week. Temperatures will be warm and above average Tuesday onward, with a decrease in the marine layer.
